The 1st June 2011 was the first day of winter but the last day of the Brunswick City Baths. After nearly a century of being jumped into, splashed around in and eating up endless laps, only the wind ripples the water. Perhaps someone knew it was an historic day - clear blue water, bright skies, enough sun to stretch out in: there seemed no reason why it couldn't go on forever.
